BIOGRAPHY
COLLEEN ANGELA KEYS JOHNSON
Colleen Angela Keys Johnson was born in New Orleans, La., to Horace and Lorena McDonald Keys. She is the sister of Horace L. Keys, Felictia Keys Morrow and the late Thomas. E. Keys, Sr. She was married to the late Stanley Johnson and is the proud mother of Stanley Johnson, Jr. and Janelle Marie Johnson.
Colleen was baptized at Rosedale M.B.C. Oct. 1964 at the age of 12. In 1984 she literally heard the voice of God say, “YOU ARE GOING THE WRONG WAY”. After many years of doing things her way and realizing just going to church every Sunday was not enough, she yearned for a deeper relationship with Christ and in 1995, she joined Franklin Ave. Baptist Church and totally surrendered her life to Christ at a Women's Conference.
Seeing a need in the community she grew up in, Colleen joined Greater Bright Morning Star Baptist Church in New Orleans, La. in January 2000. Remembering her training at Rosedale, Franklin Ave, and recalling the story about her maternal grandmother speaking and evangelizing at different churches, she realized it was all training ground for the greater work and purposed God had called her to do. It was then that she accepted her call into the preaching ministry in 2000 and was licensed in 2002 and ordained in 2004 under the leadership of Pastor Thomas E. Keys, Jr.
She is presently a member of The School of the Prophets, Women of Worth, Director of Single, Saved and Sanctified Singles Ministry and serves as the 1st Assistant to Pastor Thomas E. Keys, Jr. as well as Site Pastor of Restoration Centre Bossier.
She is employed by Amistad Communication 1300 AM KSYB Radio as a programmer and On-Air Personality as the Midday Messenger.
The scripture that speaks to Colleen and constantly gives her comfort and direction is Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart , and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Her favorite songs are “I Love You (Lord Today)” , “Blessed Assurance” and “I Surrender All”
Pastor Njeri Camara
Lead Pastor
Shreveport, LA
Elder Njeri Camara was born Marcelette Walker to the union of Eula Wilson and Willie E. Wright. She accepted Christ and was baptized at the age of 8 years under the late Rev. J. R. Retledge at Evergreen Baptist Church, 804 Allen Avenue in Shreveport. She was reared in the Lakeside/ Allendale community where she attended all neighborhood schools. Njeri had her born again “conversion” experience in 1990 under the deliverance ministry of the late Chief Apostle Josephine Young “J.Y.” Smith of H.E.L.P.S. Outreach Faith Temple. She accepted her call into the Gospel Ministry in 1992 and was first licensed under Bishop Larry Lawerence Brandon, Jr. in the Fall of 1993. She is a founding member of Praise Temple Full Gospel Baptist Cathedral. In 1996, she united with the From Bondage to Freedom Outreach Center and was licensed under Apostle Cornell Hamilton.
Following many years of leadership service in ministry Njeri Camara was ordained an Elder at United Community Church under the pastorage of Rev. Jackie Dozier and the Grace Ministries International Fellowship on June 25, 2005. Consistently faithful in the things of God, she heard the voice of God in Spring of 2013 telling her she was a prophet. She was very uncomfortable with the call and did not understand how to move in the gift when God would reveal things and give her what to say. In her quest for complete obedience to the call of God, she knew there was a need to understand the anointing that goes with being a prophet.
In the Winter of 2015, she was led into invited to join the “Perfected Word Bible Study” on Tuesday evenings listening to the teaching of Dr. Thomas E. Keys, Jr., Pastor of Restoration Centre’ International Ministries. While remaining faithful in the vineyard where she had been planted she continued to seek God’s face about the “Prophet” anointing. No where had things been made more clearer and profound about what she was to do than at Restoration. She remembers very vividly, the statement that God made to her on Saturday, May, 22, 2016, when He audibly spoke and told her she was a Pastor. Soon after that encounter, Njeri Camara joined in fellowship at Restoration Centre’ International Ministries and was able to home in on the vision that God had given her in ministry.
She was now able to visualize how to wrap ministry around business. Through ministry teachings and the School of the Prophets, Elder Camara was illuminated through the simplicity of the Word and the words of her testimony. After counsel and discussion with Apostle Keys the vision for Elder Camara’s ministry became vivid. The vision had always been what the mission of Restoration Centre’ International Ministries is “Restoring Broken Lives.” Restoring Broken Lives Outreach is a ministry affiliate of Restoration Centre’ International Ministries.
