Restoration Centre Full Gospel Cathedral was born as a result of God moving on the city of New Orleans with the winds and waters of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.  When Katrina hit the city Pastor Keys was the Sr. Pastor at Greater Bright Morning Star Full Gospel Baptist Church.  While living in Bossier City months later confused, frustrated, depressed and aggravated Bishop Paul S. Morton (Presiding Bishop of Full Gospel International) came to Shreveport to minister and Pastor Keys heard God speak this ministry into existence.  This church has been called to Bossier City, Louisiana “for such a time as this” to “Restore Broken Lives.” 

In its first 3 years of existence Restoration Centre has purchased and remodeled its building. The church has also acquired  9 lots in Barksdale Annex.  Every August we sponsors “Regalia For Royalty” in which the church gives away school uniforms to children in the community, church, and less fortunate.  Restoration Centre has awarded over $5,000 in college scholarships.  We also have LEAP preparation classes for 3rd, 4th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th,11th, and 12th graders.  Our plan for the future is to build Restoration Centre Phase I on our property in Barksdale Annex, and  impact the Shreveport/Bossier community with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
